New to Washington State in 2012, Heather loves Bellingham and feels very much at home in the Pacific Northwest. Heather received her credentialing as a certified counselor in Washington State in 2014, and is excited to start up a practice in Bellingham.
Heather is also a registered social worker in the province of British Columbia, Canada, working especially with children and youth. A professional counselor in Canada for many years, Heather has worked in a variety of counseling settings and currently maintains a private practice in BC two days a week.
Heather has a masters degree in social work (1987), a diploma as a Sound Practitioner (2006), and training in Level 1 EMDR, and Emotional Freedom Technique. Additional influences are Heather's personal yoga and meditation practices, love of nature, and her recently completed 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training (Samarya Center, Seattle).
